OKLAN & LA VIPÉRE ROUGE

Oklan & La Vipère Rouge is a duo from the south of France, formed by two longtime friends who translate urban life and cultural heritage into a distinctive hybrid sonic universe.

Their music blends contemporary electronic production with Mediterranean, North African, and Middle Eastern influences, creating a sound where tradition and modernity coexist seamlessly.

At the core of their identity lies the interplay between electronic textures and the electric saz, bringing an ancestral and melodic dimension into a modern, club-oriented context. This fusion results in a raw, hypnotic, and atmospheric aesthetic.

Their debut EP, Basse Ville, rooted in their home neighborhood, lays the foundation with influences from Syrian dabke, Anatolian rock, and Maghreb sounds. While Hyper Moknech expands their sonic landscape into more urban and club-driven territories without losing its cinematic and narrative depth.
