MY NOISY TWINS

Portugal | IDM / Trip Hop / Nu Jazz

MY NOISY TWINS is a musician, sound designer, electronic music producer and DJ , also known as Jorge Cunha Machado.

He has been developing a language in which sound is treated as a malleable substance rather than merely a musical structure. His sonic identity is defined by a constant tension that oscillates between texture and dissolution, density and suspension. With meticulous attention to microscopic detail, he challenges linear listening and the boundaries of sound, space and perception, generating immersive atmospheres that move between the tangible and the imaginary, the physical and the ethereal.

The result is an aesthetic that privileges sensation over form, where the listener is invited into a perceptual space that is almost tactile. His music is not limited to being heard, but experienced as a continuously shifting field, where the boundary between composition and sonic phenomenon dissolves.

Within his identity, there is always a before and an after that remain unrevealed. What persists is that enduring interval— between what sounds and what withdraws. An in-between space where what emerges and what disappears remain indistinguishable.

The project’s discography includes releases such as Fragments of a Living City (2019), Ghost Clubbing (2023) and Behind Mist and Morning (2023). Just launched his fourth album of original material, supported by the Fundação GDA through the Performers’ Phonographic Edition Support Program. In 2026, MY NOISY TWINS will present this upcoming album live in concert format, alongside the previous release Behind Mist and Morning (2023).
